Chic Click Carnival

This week, I am again participating in the Chic Click Carnival! This awesome party is hosted by Chic Chick Media (Tip Junkie, SITS, Skip to my Lou, and Today’s Creative Blog.)  It’s more than just a party.  It has some sweet prizes and the chance to discover new blogs.  Brilliant!

First and foremost allow me to introduce myself.  If this is the first time you’re visiting my blog, I welcome you!  If this is not the first time and you are someone who reads my ramblings regularly, hello and I LOVE YOU!

My pen name is browneyes_24b.  I am the author of this little corner of the blogosphere, The White Blue Sky!  I am a fairly new blogger.  I started in February of this year, and it all began when my blog was named Larry’s Ass.

Wait.  What?

Yes, months ago this very blog was named Larry’s Ass – A mommy blog with a Twist!

Before you close your browser because you are uncertain what is wrong with my brain, allow me to explain.  My blog was not named after a man named Larry and his ass.  No, no.

Larry’s Ass is an inside joke between a few longtime friends of mine.  It takes the word “hilarious,” and transforms it into the term, “Larry’s Ass.”  For example.  Have you ever witnessed something funny and you’re inclined to say, “that’s hilarious!”  ?  Well, instead of the word, “hilarious” say “Larry’s Ass,” and BAM!  You are in on the humor.  I warn you though, it’s kind of addicting/catchy.  I have had a good friend share with me that her young son has stated events as “Larry’s Ass,” instead of hilarious.  This caused a tinge of guilt on my soul for being the cause of adding such a phrase to their repertoire.

So!  Here we are.  I changed things, and now Larry’s Ass is The White Blue Sky!  Yay!  If you’d like to read more about me, check out my About page. I’m on Twitter and Facebook too, so come and say hello!
